Corey had also contacted me asking to design and paint a monogram on a runner for her upcoming wedding. It has a really nice fall feel to it, using a burnt orange and chocolate brown. Congratulations to Corey and Chris!

Karen contacted me about painting three parasols for her. One would be a three letter monogram for her in gold, the other two in a terra cotta and fern green for both a bridesmaid and maid of honor. What a fun idea! Congratulations to Karen!

Connie was a referral from Limor at Koru Event Design. Connie wanted me to paint a parasol, using a design from the invitations designed by Limor. I thought it was such an original idea and was excited for the opportunity. The parasol came out gorgeous! Congratulations to Connie!

I have LOTS of projects that I need to post on here, but I want to apologize for the delay. I've been busy now that my final semester of classes has started but I promise to get up my items real soon.

So in the meantime, I'll post my runner I did for myself. I noticed I never posted my own wedding runner. The quote painted is from a Roy Croft poem.

“I love you,
Not only for what you are,
But for what I am
When I am with you.

I love you,
Not only for what
You have made of yourself,
But for what
You are making of me.
I love you
For the part of me
That you bring out;
I love you
For putting your hand
Into my heaped-up heart
And passing over
All the foolish, weak things
That you can’t help
Dimly seeing there,
And for drawing out
Into the light
All the beautiful belongings
That no one else had looked
Quite far enough to find.

Tricia is actually an old friend of mine. We met back in 1995 doing this insane activity called drum corps....Anyway, when Tricia found out that I do runners, she asked me to do one for her and I was very excited for the opportunity to create something for her.

Congratulations to Tricia & Thomas!
